We don’t want to amaze you… we don’t want to excite you… we don’t want to surprise you: we only want to offer you the dishes of the great Italian culinary tradition, simple but extremely well cared for and above all made using only high-quality raw materials and the best food products made by the great artisans of Italy.
The pasta, the oil, the tomato, the rice… not to mention the cured meats and cheeses, the fish and meat: everything comes exclusively from highly selected suppliers, who produce small niche productions exclusively for gourmets and high-end restaurants: even a spaghetti with clams, a paccheri with yellow cherry tomato or a fettuccine with ragù can, in its simplicity, be extraordinary more than a thousand marinades. Our mains? Our fish and meat are always excellent and incomparable: try the fried fish, always very light, also because, for frying, we use a special oil, usually reserved for pastry… or, if you prefer, try the sea bass cooked in salt, or the grilled scampi and prawns, or even the rib-eye steak, the sirloin steak, the Milanese-style veal cutlet: we are sure that you have never tasted anything so good; once again, the quality of our raw materials will give you all the satisfaction you are looking for, even in the desserts by Biasetto or Pasticceria Marisa, in the truffle from Pizzo Calabro or in the fresh fruit we will offer you at the end of dinner.
An evening at Vistamare is always a pleasant, relaxing and unsurprising evening, whether it’s a pizza cooked in a “padellino”, as per the ancient tradition of Grado, or a dinner with friends. And even the prices will be unsurprising: you will pay exactly what is stated on the menu, without any addition of cover and/or service charges.
THE BAR SERVICE
Breakfast at Vistamare has the unique flavor of leavened products made by great Italian pastry chefs, artisanal and exclusive coffee, sweet juices and freshly squeezed ones, but also eggs with bacon or sausages. We strive to meet the needs of our international clientele, even in our snack offerings: sandwiches, toast, toastoni, and triple deckers are all rightfully famous and in demand, as are our salads, cold cuts and vegetable dishes, and our spectacular ice cream cups. We offer over 40 beer labels, 150 Prosecco and sparkling wine labels, and over 300 wine labels to accompany your quick lunches.
For our cocktails and Long Drinks, we use over 20 Gin and Vodka labels, 50 Rum labels, while our grappas, amari and whiskies exceed 200 labels, some of which are very rare. As the sun sets, the music rises, and the joy continues until at least 2 am… Summer evenings are the most beautiful moments in which you can fully enjoy all the beauty of Vistamare.
